Addiction to prescription drugs is a growing problem among young people... 

OxyContin and Vicodin are not illegal when prescribed by a physician. They are addictive, and have become increasingly popular among drug users. Using prescription drugs for non-medical purposes is being used at approximately the same rate as marijuana among people between the ages of 12-20.

Our residential program, Sage Retreat is a 30, 60, or 90 day program for the ongoing treatment of Chemical Dependency. The Sage Retreat is an environment that offers a place to heal the mind, the body and the spirit while promoting a healthy lifestyle from the inside out.

Our Chronic Pain Program is typically a 30-45 day stay. Alternative pain management methods are introduced under the supervision of our medical staff including acupuncture, yoga, physical therapy, bio-electric medicine, TENS placement, oriental massage and acupressure. It is where Eastern medicine meets Western medicine.

Our Prime of Life Program is for the adult 55+. This age group faces a variety of medical, psychological, and social challenges. We provide a pace and environment conducive to the individual needs and abilities of this age group.

Early Adult Program – This program focuses on the needs of the 18-25 year old emerging adult. Several of the topics covered are self-esteem, relationships, communication, career, and spirituality.
We place great emphasis on our Family Program with weekly family groups and a bi-monthly family intensive program. Through the group process, family members explore ways to change their behaviors while supporting their loved one while in treatment.
We can accommodate all levels of care from Medical Detoxification, Rehabilitation, Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization, and Sober Living. Our gender separate sober living homes are beautifully appointed and are conveniently located to allow our patients easy access to their continuing treatment.
We accept most major insurances, including Medicare, Medi-Medi, Tri-Care, and Workers Compensation. Our ASAM certified Medical Director sees all inpatients on a daily basis, and our nursing staff (RN’s , LVN’s) are present 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week to attend to all patient care needs. Our acute care facility, including the Partial Hospitalization Program is licensed under the State of California, and our Residential Program (Sage Retreat) is licensed with the California Department of Alcohol and Drugs. All services are Joint Commission and CARF accredited. We are one of the very few treatment programs in the nation to hold dual accreditation.
